redelijk constant in de aantallen die ik zie en de gemiddelde scores, zelfs in de verhouding tussen bioscoop, dvd, downloads (33% elk)... komt misschien omdat ik volledig een eigen plan trek. Een heel enkele keer ga ik met mijn broer naar een Hollywood ding waar ik anders zelf niet heen geweest was (I Frankenstein was een verwacht dieptepuntje dit jaar), maar dat is toch relatief uitzonderlijk.

Deze maand was voor mij een rustige in de bioscoop. Nu had ik ook al het een en ander van te voren gezien op festivals e.d. en ik ga wat minder naar het Hollywood vermaak in de Pathe ArenA bij mij om de hoek... voorheen vond ik het nog wel eens lekker om na het werk wat te hangen met zo'n filmpje, maar nu ik voornamelijk thuis zit, gaat de voorkeur vaak toch naar iets waar ik wat meer mijn tanden in kan zetten, ontspanning heb ik helaas al genoeg. Wel weer blij dat ik weer twee jaren 90 klassiekers, die al heel lang op mijn herkijk-lijstje stonden, in de bios heb mogen zien deze maand. In the Mood for Love schoot in mijn waardering gelijk van de 3,5 ster die ik em ruim 12 jaar geleden gaf naar de welverdiende volle score!

Ik beperk mijn "film van de maand" lijstje altijd tot 4 titels, maar naast de eerste twee zeer bijzondere screenings mag de voorpremiere van Boyhood in EYE ook nog wel weer even genoemd worden. Het was deze maand uitermate spectaculair voor de bioscoopgangers!! (waaronder opvallend weinig van de usual MM suspects...)

Ik ben nogal huismusserig dit jaar en kom te weinig in de bios. Zie daar het goede voornemen voor de tweede helft. De top 2 zag ik niet thuis namelijk. Nu de maandlijst van juni. Met mijn derde 4.5* van dit jaar!

Vandaag wordt er niets meer gekeken, dus mijn overzicht is alweer gemaakt. Deze maand stond even helemaal in het teken van Hong Kong. Helaas zijn de scores daar voor mij weer zo wisselvallig, dat er slechts eentje de "film van de maand" selectie haalde. De herzieningen pakte weer eens goed uit. Vooral Scanners was veel beter dan ik had gedacht.

Komende maand heel veel Hitchcock in de bios en thuis ben ik begonnen met Frankrijk en meer recente arthouse... maar dat kan met mijn gigantische kijkvoorraad soms toch nog alle kanten opschieten... het idee is vooral veel zomerse films uit de collectie te kijken (zoals lumiere d'ete, the end of summer, un deux trois soleil, conte d'ete, at the height of summer, eternal summer, l'heure d'ete... en dan uiteraard films die daar mee samenhangen, zoals de andere seizoen-films van Rohmer) kijken hoe het volgende maand daarmee gesteld is
