ooh deze is ook leuk, had ik nog niet eerder opgemerkt.

wellicht dat ik hier ook een overzichtje van kan produceren een dezer dagen...

2011 Tree of Life kan niemand het mee oneens zijn lijkt me!

Midnight in Paris (2011) is ook erg goed . Verder heb ik A Dangerous Method (2011) nog niet gezien , lijkt me ook beter dan The Tree of Life (2011) .

Ik ben niet de enige hoor .

Er zijn mensen die Melancholia (2011) voorlopig de film van het jaar vinden en er zijn ook liefhebbers zat van Fast Five (2011) .

The Tree of Life (2011) vind ik niet eens zo slecht . De zwevende GOD-modus handheld cinematografie en oogverblindend digitale fotografie zijn intrigerend . Daar houd ik erg van . Echter , het tempo / ritme van de film is een beetje aan de trage kant , een kwartier lang durende CGI oerknal ( met vulkaanuitbarstingen en dino’s ) slaat in mijn ogen gewoon nergens op . Mijn antipathie jegens Brad Pitt weegt mee bij mijn oordeel , maar dat is weer persoonlijk en eigelijk een non-argument ...

Nou ja als een acteur me niet ligt, zoals ook bij Brad Pitt kan dat soms mijn filmbeleving ernstig verknallen. Maar gelukkig heb ik Malick wel hoog zitten dus ik hoop dat ik me niet al te veel aan Pitt ga ergeren. Die oerknal lijkt me trouwens geweldig. We zullen zien.

Daar heb je gelijk in. Persoonlijk vind ik Brad Pitt één van de beste acteurs van zijn generatie, maar ik heb wel een 'probleem' met iemand als Leonardo DiCaprio. Helaas krijgt hij het voor elkaar om met iedere goede regisseur te werken en constant de mooiste rollen krijgt aangeboden.

soms lastige keuzes en misschien een enkele titel nog over het hoofd gezien, maar ik denk dat dit mijn lijstje is voor de top allertijden:

Beste film van 1978. Echt?

Grease valt echt wel op tussen de rest van de titels...

ik kon niks beters vinden in 1978... "Dawn of the Dead" misschien (ook 4 sterren), maar daar heb ik eigenlijk toch wat minder mee. Mijn jaren 70 en 80 zijn sowieso een beetje raar, misschien moet ik eens wat meer klassiekers uit die tijd gaan kijken, maar ik heb de jaren 60 nog nauwelijks bereikt met mijn 'klassieker-inhaal-race' van het afgelopen half jaar

1978? Deer Hunter, Halloween, Midnight express, ... ?

Probeer Veredas (1978) eens, beavis. Die kan ik je blind aanraden. Voor mij behoort Grease overigens ook tot de betere (lees: leukere) films van 1978, niets om je voor te schamen.

klinkt heel interessant Alastor, die film (en filmmaker) kende ik nog niet!

Film Pegasus, Midnight Express heb ik nog niet gezien wellicht ook een mooie tip... hoewel de synopsis me opzich niet aanspreekt...
