Tsja, daar zit wat in. Ik dacht dat het de bedoeling was van elk jaar de beste film erin te zetten. En als je van dat jaar maar één film hebt gezien die erg slecht is dan zet je die er ook bij . Maarja, het zijn er maar 2 en zo zie je wel welke jaren voor mij het minste waren (of waarvan ik het minste heb gezien ).

Beste films allertijden kun je gewoon niet op deze manier selecteren. In één jaar kun je 4 toppers hebben zitten en in andere jaren alleen maar films die daar ver onder zitten.

Ik vind het wel leuk om te zien wat iemands beste film van een jaar is. Ook al heeft ie maar 1 ster.

Een aantal grondige vernieuwingen in vergelijking met vorig jaar, de periode '40 - '50 heb ik eens serieus onder handen genomen. Met succes. Het leverde ontdekkingen op zoals The Big Sleep, Double Idemnity, In A Lonely Place en Sunset Blvd.

Ook heel wat andere fantastische stukken cinema ontdekt en herontdekt, even een top elf:

Verder kan ik nog zeggen dat de jaren 1927, 1946, 1950, 1957, 1973, 1994 en 1999 fantastische filmjaren zijn - waarvan ik lang heb zitten denken welke film nu dé beste was.

De meest trieste jaren zijn wellicht 1962 en 2005 - vooral kwantiteit, weinig kwaliteit.

Ook voor het komende jaar neem ik mezelf voor om wat meer oudere films te gaan bekijken, ik denk aan de film-noirs, de stille cinema én vooral de westerns.

Het wordt ook eens hoogtijd dat ik wat buitenlandse films ga bekijken, zeker die aziatische landen moet ik eens onder de loep nemen.

Of hier waar je al begonnen was, of wat dacht je van bij de film zelf? Maar je openingszin nodigt ten eerste niet uit tot discussie en ten tweede ben ik het niet met je eens en dan hebben we twee stellingen, waarover niet te discussieren valt. Er bestaat namelijk geen beste film aller tijden.

Ik zou je adviseren een onderbouwd verhaal voor je stelling bij de film zelf te plaatsen. Tot nu toe kom je niet verder dan één zin (in de meeste topics) of drie zinnen bij de film zelf. Dat geeft weinig aanknopingspunten voor een discussie.
