Welk tijdperk vindt je beter: de jaren 80, 90, 00..of misschien wel de jaren 30, 40, 50 en 60. Maak een lijstje met je favo film-tijdperk en je minst favo film-tijdperk. Vertel ook waarom je dat tijdperk beter vindt (vanwege welke films). Succes!

01 - Jaren '80:

Reden: Dit was voor mij toch wel de golden age wat films betreft. Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Rambo, Batman, James Bond (m'n favo Bond-acteur blijft Roger Moore), Back to the Future en natuurlijk de gezellige fantasyfilms uit die tijd.

Films: Star Wars V en VI, Labyrinth, For Your Eyes Only, Indiana Jones Trilogy, Rambo Trilogy, Aliens, Back to the Future Trilogy, The Dark Crystal, Ghostbusters, The NeverEnding Story, The Shining, Batman, Octopussy, The Thing, The Terminator, Evil Dead 1 en 2, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, Gremlins 1 en 2...etc.

02 - Jaren '00:

Reden: Veel klassieke film-iconen zoals Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Rambo, Die Hard en Terminator kwamen terug en het horror genre kreeg z'n gore weer terug na de ietwat brave jaren '90. Ook de terugkeer van de 'grote' trilogiën (wat ontbrak in de jaren '90) was iets speciaals.

Films: Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Star Wars II en III, (Ju-On) The Grudge, Casino Royale, Howl's Moving Castle, Rambo, OldBoy, Cloverfield, The Descent, A Tale of Two Sisters, Harry Potter Sorcerer's Stone/Chamber of Secrets/Order of the Phoenix, 1408, Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Remake en Beginning), Memories of Murder, The Mummy Returns, National Treasure, The Dark Knight, Spirited Away, The Brotherhood of War, King Kong, The Ring, Matrix Reloaded en Revolutions...etc

03 - Jaren '90:

Reden: In dit tijdperk waren de films groot en memorabel zonder het gebruik van teveel CGI effecten en zonder de MTV achtige aanpak. Howel het horror-genre een beetje braaf was (enkel Braindead was echt gory) heb ik toch mooie herinneringen aan deze tijd.

Films: Braveheart, GoldenEye, Independence Day, The Haunting, Waterworld, Tomorrow Never Dies, Stargate, The Mummy, Godzilla, Speed, Dances with Wolves, The Matrix, Jurassic Park, Terminator 2, Die Hard with a Vengeance, Batman Returns, Gladiator, Titanic, Saving Private Ryan, The Lost World, Blair Witch Project, The Fifth Element...etc

04 - Jaren '70:

Reden: Voornamelijk vanwege 'Star Wars' en James Bond . Verder bracht dit tijdperk de blaxploitation films met zich mee en legendarische films als Alien en Tobe Hooper's Texas Chainsaw Massacre...etc.

Films: Jaws, Star Wars IV, Alien, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Man with the Golden Gun, Duel, Castle of Cagliostro, The Spy Who Loved Me, Dawn of the Dead, Lady Snowblood 1, Moonraker...etc.

05: Jaren '60:

Reden: Bij de jaren 60 denk ik toch meestal aan Bond...James Bond. Maar het was tevens het tijdperk van de epische films en de introductie van het 'zombie' genre.

Films: Dr. No, Planet of the Apes, Goldfinger, Spartacus, Thunderball, Jason and the Argonauts, Night of the Living Dead, You Only Live Twice, The Poseidon Adventure...etc.

06: Jaren '30:

Reden: Vreemd genoeg heb ik me nooit echt verdiept in de jaren '40 en '50. Dus als ik een tijdperk op nummer 6 moet zetten wordt het toch echt de jaren '30. Als iemand mij films kan aanraden uit de jaren '40 en '50...be my guest. Enkel House of Wax uit '53 en Gojira uit '54 kan ik me goed voor de geest houden.

Films: King Kong, Frankenstein, Dracula, Mystery of the Wax Museum...etc.

en misschien een optie die net wat meer vrijheid geeft dan de lijsten van dit topic Film >> Toplijsten en favorieten >> Top allertijden omdat er per decennium uiteraard altijd sterkere en mindere jaren zijn

nummers 1 voor de jaren 30 en 80 kan ik het totaal niet mee eens zijn, en matchpoint en dancer in the dark voor 2000... dan zitten we met de smaak echt 180 graden aan het andere uiteinde, dat vond ik echt hele nare films

Ik heb een zwak voor oude komieken als Charlie Chaplin en Louis de Funès, die zullen bij mij dus altijd vertegenwoordigd zijn. "Modern Times" is een mooie combinatie van humor met een sociale aanklacht. Verder blijft Woody Allen een van mijn favorieten, ook met zijn recentere films, wegens zijn combinatie van humor met filosofie, psychologie etc.

"Blowup" heb ik pas recent ontdekt, maar ik vond hem dus wel zeer goed. Het blijft natuurlijk onmogelijk om compleet verschillende genres te vergelijken.

"Dancer in the Dark" vond ik een zeer zwartgallige film, maar dat is ook een manier om aan te grijpen. Het is ook muzikale waardering voor Björk.

De jaren '80 zijn mijn minst favoriete decennium, dus heb ik maar voor dat Franse tweeluik gekozen. De manier waarop de oude boeren de nieuwkomer uit de stad proberen op te lichten, Gérard Depardieu in zijn beste periode, voor mij een van de beste Franse films.

jaren 1910 maar weg gelaten dit keer, omdat ik daar eigenlijk nog maar 3 top-scores heb, waarvan er twee van 1919, dus bijna jaren 20... Deze pioniersfase van de cinema kan wat daar na kwam gewoon niet helemaal bijbenen in kwaliteit lijkt het.
