As part of the 10th Anniversary celebrations the International Network on Children’s Health, Environment and Safety (INCHES) launched an International Film Competition on Health and Environment. The competition, called “Focus on Children in a Healthy Environment” and centred on the themes “Climate” and “Environmental Health” is open for submissions until 1 September, 2009 and is open to all nationalities and ages. The nominated films and winners of both categories will be shown at two filmfestivals in the Netherlands: Netherlands Film Festival and Leids Film Festival. Furthermore, there are separate cash prizes for films up to 5 minutes of duration and up to 15 minutes.
