Hoe vaak ben je dit jaar naar de bios geweest?

Indrukwekkend allemaal. Mijn teller staat nog op 0 dit jaar.

Na die coronatoestanden was het in mei en juni total loss in mijn vrije tijd. Jammer genoeg met weinig (extra) bioscoopbezoeken ten gevolge van allerhande andere (uitgestelde) verplichtingen en voorbereidingen.

Voor ik op verlof vertrek toch nog even de bioscoop in voor weliswaar iets hapbaar. Alleen twijfel ik tussen Maverick en Elvis. De één om er vanaf te zijn en het feit dat de kritieken op visueel vlak de moeite zijn, de andere omdat een muziekfilm toch beter overkomt op het grote doek.

Iemand een suggestie?

Je gaat gewoon naar Maverick om Cruise te zien stunten en weer thuis zet je een cd, of dvd op van de enige échte King, want er gaat toch niets boven het origineel i.p.v. nagespeeld.

Het Tweede Kwartaal. Ik zou eigenlijk vanavond nog The Disaster Artist en aansluitend The Room gaan zien, maar daar heb ik momenteel geen zin in. Jammer, want het is eenmalig, maar het is ook geen groot gemis geloof ik.

Zo, bioscoopjaar 2022 zit er na vanmiddag weer op. 2 januari komend jaar ga ik wel weer. Uiteindelijk een redelijk normaal filmjaar met enkel in januari nog iets van 3 weken dat de bioscopen dicht zaten. Dat is wel anders dan 2020 en vooral 2021 waarin de bioscopen maanden dicht zaten en ik op 56 en 38 bezoekjes kwam respectievelijk..

82 bezoekjes uiteindelijk, waarvan een film twee keer, te weten: Les Olympiades. 5* en sowieso de beste nieuwe film in jaren die ik mocht zien in de bioscoop. En daarnaast nog twee maal 4,5*.

Dit jaar twee maal een nieuwe bioscoop gehad, maar sowieso weinig buiten Apeldoorn bezocht. Ik had gewoon minder zin om te reizen en zeker de tweede helft van dit jaar op momenten een forse filmdip en zo ruim 2 weken niet geweest, meerdere malen. Maar uiteindelijk in december nog veel ingehaald en 82 keer vind ik een prima aantal.

Januari had nog een coronasluiting, maar daarna toch wel regelmatig geweest. Ik vind dit een net aantal, maar dan zie ik dat anderen gewoon bijna 200 keer zijn geweest...

Ik begrijp nooit waar mensen de tijd en zin vandaan halen voor zulke aantallen

Het is dit jaar wel zo bijna een verdubbeling van 2021 en 2020, maar dat lag aan corona en gesloten bioscopen. Mijn beste jaar is 2019 met 54 bezoeken.

Gisteren voor het eerst in 2023

Ik weet niet zeker of ik zelfs tijdens de coronagolven wel een 8 month stretch heb gehad. Maar ja, met een baby is dat lastig. En nu hij deze week naar het kinderdagverblijf ging voor het eerst, hebben we toch op de derde dag onze kans gegrepen en een ochtend en middag voorstelling gepakt van Guardians 3 en Across the Spider-Verse.

It was GOOD to be back.

Ik ga af op meer dan ooit als ik zo door ga.
