Lastig te bepalen welke film "de beste betreft" vanaf 2000 tot nu. Ik heb er maar 1 vijf sterren film, Cidade de Deus die erg, erg veel indruk heeft gemaakt. Recentelijk telt dat ook voor Das Leben der Anderen.

De rest zijn films die idem veel indruk hebben gemaakt met een speciale aantekening voor 4 Luni, 3 Săptămîni şi 2 Zile, het koste me moeite mijn emoties in bedwang te houden.

Zoals dragje ook al aangeeft is het erg moeilijk om aan te geven wat de beste film vanaf 2000 tot nu is. Mulholland Drive is voor mij misschien wel de beste film allertijden dus die staat met een straatlengte voor op nummer één. Cidade de Deus staat ook in mijn persoonlijke top 10 en verdiend hier daarom ook nummer twee op de lijst. Martin Scorsese (The Departed, Gangs of New York) en Hayao Miyazaki (Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi, Hauro no Ugoku Shiro) zijn de ''top'' regisseurs in deze lijst. Deze lijst is tot nu toe, maar ik moet nog vele films zien dus er zullen vast nog wel wat veranderingen in aantreden.
