Dvd-boxen

Ok, thanks voor de info, zal de reviews eens lezen. Ik heb nog niets van de man op dvd. Dit leek me de mooiste die ik kon vinden. Twijfel sowieso wel over losse dvd's of in één hap een box. Is wel verleidelijk en gemakkelijk, maar losse uitgaven zijn ook interessant, al weet ik niet hoe goed ze los verkrijgbaar zijn.

Heb de box zelf in de kast staan hier, dikke aanrader. Het is wel een dure box, maar het is een bijzonder boeiende verzameling filmpjes, ook al zijn niet alle filmpjes even interessant. Maar er staan een paar echt pareltjes op hoor! Natuurlijk hangt het er vanaf of je geïnteresseerd bent in avant garde, maar ik neem aan dat je dat wel bent (anders stel je deze vraag niet). Als je geïnteresseerd bent in het experimenteren met film toen het medium nog in de kinderschoenen stond, zal je deze set zeker wel leuk vinden. Of als je twijfelt kan je ook gaan voor de twee Avant Garde-dvds van Kino die je samen al voor 20 euro hebt; veel goedkoper dus. Die bieden ook een mooi overzicht van de Avant Garde, en beperken zich niet tot de VS. Veel filmpjes overlappen wel op beide dvds. Dus heb je geld; koop de Unseen Cinema box. Twijfel je: ga eerst voor de Kino dvds. Beiden zijn in ieder geval een mooie toevoeging voor je collectie

Een Monsieur Hulot ( Jaques Tati) dvd boxje zou tof zijn.

Ik ga hem maar gewoon aanschaffen. Lijkt me toch wel een erg fascinerende set. Wel vervelend dat de dollar nu weer zo duur is, dus eerst maar even afwachten of dat nog een beetje bijtrekt...
