Je hoeft toch niet door te gaan tot 1024. Er bestaat toch ook de mogelijkheid een soort willekeurige voorronde te houden, waarbij je daarna op 512 uitkomt. Maar het lijkt mij dat The One Ring hier als organisator ook wel iets over wil zeggen.

Ik ben zelf nog niet eens klaar met nomineren. Wat mij betrefd mogen er nog wel nominaties blijven komen. Of we de 1024 halen weet ik niet (en dat is wellicht ook niet nodig), maar ik stel voor dat we tot donderdag doorgaan met nomineren. Dan is er precies een week de tijd voor geweest. Dan bekijk ik wel even of een extra voorronde op een bepaalde manier nodig is of dat er nog een andere regeling getroffen moet worden.

Is volgens mij ook een dubieuze toevoeging. Hij speelt dat personage namelijk ook in de tv-serie en dat is bijvoorbeeld ook de rede dat Homer Simpson niet is toegelaten.

Ik denk dat veel meer mensen Ali G kennen op basis van de film, dan van de serie. Met die redenatie zou Borat ook niet toegelaten mogen worden (wat ik ook stom zou vinden, aangezien de film een Borat-hype veroorzaakte).

Daar heb jij dan weer een punt

Ja, eigenlijk een beetje grijs gebied. Homer Simpson en SpongeBob horen er wat mij betreft ook niet in thuis, vooral ook omdat ze al voor de film enorm bekend waren (The Simpsons liep al bijna 20 seizoenen ofzo) en SpongeBob ook natuurlijk. Ali G is wel een twijfelgevalletje.

Ali G werd toch (wereldwijd) bekend door Madonna's clip ? Ken hem eerder van de serie dan van de film.

Het ligt er een beetje aan. Ali G is in Nederland nooit primetime uitgezonden, oorspronkelijk 's avonds laat op nederland 3 volgens mij, dat was het eerste teken.

Daarna die clip van Madonna, maar daar is hij niet echt 'bekend' van, aangezien mensen die hem tot dat moment niet kenden, hem vooral als rare snuiter zullen zien. De populariteit piekte in ieder geval met de film.

Die twee figuren gooi ik dan ook maar uit de lijst. Een televisiepersonage mag er vanaf nu in als hij bekender is van televisie dan van de film. Dat is bij Twin Peaks uiteraard niet het geval. Bij Borat wel, maar bij Ali G twijfel ik. Ik weet dat er zoiets bestaat als de Ali G Show, maar ik hoorde toch eerder iets over de film. Maar dat zal bij iedereen wel verschillen. Van mij mag hij erin, tenzij iemand echt bezwaren ertegen heeft.
