Jean Cocteau heeft de sensationele en prachtige klassieker Beauty and the Beast uitgebracht en daarnaast ook nog een hele rits Orphics.
Ik vindt het een top regisseur en hij is erg creatief waardoor zijn werk er ook zo gelikt uitziet.
Als je dvd's van hem wilt aanschaffen en als je hem een beetje waardeert dan schaf je de Criterion versies aan:

* Orpheus
en
* The Testament of Orpheus
Het zijn single discs met niet boordevol extra's (net genoeg en daarnaast is het een mooi degelijk boxje.)
- Beauty and the Beast
is nog mooier en is ook een single disc (het is wel prijzig) maar dan heb je ook een spectaculaire hoesen het heeft daarnaast ook nog eens boordevol extra's:
